Room
I was out at a store shopping. As I was checking out, an old friend
who I had not seen in years came up. We talked, after awhile I asked
Where Do You Go To Church Now ?, He said
"We Go To Church In Our Living Room"
What he meant was he watched TV in his living Room
I asked myself a few Simple Questions
1. Can my friend count on the people above to be at his Hospital room when
he is Ill. To comfort him and his family ?
2. Will he be able to count on the people above to see his family thru
life's path ? Will they be at his side thru good times and bad ?
3. Will they be with him when he learns his wife has cancer ?
Will they sit with him those long hours praying together at the Hospital ?
4. Will he be surrounded by Local Church members and a Pastor who loves
him if his wife dies ?
5. Will they fly into town to do the funeral ? Will they have a burden for his
lost relatives ? Will they preach the gospel at the funeral ?
6. If his TV Pastor saw him, Would he even know his name ?
7. Will they cook the meals he needs when he is not able ?
Will they clean his house when he cant ?
Will they do the yard when he is not able ?
8. When his daughter gets married will they do the ceremony ?
When the first grand child is seven and gets saved in Sunday School.
How will it happen, If Church is on TV ?
9. How will he fellowship with the other members of his local church,
if he's not part of the local church ?
10. How will he gain the life-longs friendships started at the local church
if he never joins it ?
11. How will his children grow in the Lord in Sunday School and Junior
Church, If they never attend Sunday School and Junior Church ?
12. How will the Children and Grand Children not go 100% to the World,
If he doesn't step up to the plate and lead by example ?
13. How will he follow the Lords commands for the believer to be Baptized
and to partake of the Lords Supper. If he is never part of
the Local Church ?
14. How will he be part of the ministry and serve the Lord ? What Sunday School
class will he teach ? What Bus route will he work on ?
15. How will he go out in his local town with the Gospel message. If he should see someone saved, what will he tell
them the next step is. Will it be, do what I do "Sit at home and Watch TV".
16. How will he be anything but confused. With the false prosperity gospel being preached
and no real digging in the Bible, and teachers who know so little, they are unable
to even find the real Bible.
Don't tell me. That the Television is the Local Church. Christ died for the Local
Church and the TV is not it.
17. When the day comes that you die. Will the local Church where you and your family have
worked for the Lord these many years, be full of those whose lives you have touched ?
Will the bus children be weeping all over the facility ?
Not if you're Church is a TV
